We do not believe in water baptism for babies. We believe in dedicating our children back to God.

Baptism Request Form

Every newly saved person is commanded by the Lord to be baptized (Matthew 28:19). Baptism does not save you, but it symbolizes your identification and membership with the Body of Christ through His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:4). We baptize those who have repented of their sins, believed with their hearts, and confessed with their mouths their faith in the works of Christ by walking in obedience. (Acts 2:36-39, Romans 6:4).

You must be 12 years or older to be baptized.

Benevolence

At NWCC, we are a community where no one walks alone. Our Benevolence goal is to assist families in our community that have an urgent need, due to unforeseen circumstances with a gift from the ministry.

The Benevolence Ministry assists with the following expenses:

Rental or Mortgage assistance on primary residence
Utilities (water, electricity, natural gas)
Food and Gasoline

In order to be considered for assistance, you must meet the following criteria:

Regular church attendee
Have gone through our Membership Orientation
Completed our Right Hand of Fellowship (RHOF)

Along with your completed application, we require a copy of the following items:

Copy of your lease agreement or mortgage statement
Current utility bill
Color photo of your driver’s license

Upon receipt of the above items and your completed application, the Benevolence Ministry will evaluate your application and schedule an interview for those that qualify for possible assistance. The application process can take up to two weeks.

If you meet the criteria above, please contact your zone leader for further instructions.

If you do not know your zone leader you may call the church at 210-490-9673.

Compassion, Assistance, and Hope During Bereavement The NWCC family seeks to be a source of love, comfort, encouragement, and support. We will provide compassion, assistance, and hope for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. At the request of the family, we offer the following services during their time of bereavement:

- Providing a minister to officiate at the service
- Offering suggestions for the order of service
- Offering a listening ear and a caring presence
- Praying for members of our church family
- Visiting the family and friends of the deceased
- Greeting and welcoming friends and family members
- Offering hospitality, comfort, and support during the funeral
- Providing extended follow-up care after the funeral
